Dr. Henriette Lerner is the founder and director of HL Dentclinic and Academy in Baden-Baden, Germany, a teaching and research facility affiliated with Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. She previously maintained a private practice in Bruchsal, Germany, from 1993 to 2007, and has held an appointment as Associate Professor at the University Gr. T. Popa in Iasi, Romania.

She specializes in implant dentistry, digital workflows, and soft- and hard-tissue augmentation, within a broader practice spanning oral surgery, periodontology and esthetic dentistry.

She received her dental degree (D.M.D.) in 1990 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Timisoara, Romania, and completed postgraduate oral surgery training at the Fortbildungsakademie in Karlsruhe and at the University of Medicine and Pharmacology Carol Davila in Bucharest, along with a Harvard Week training program in 1995. She became a DGZI Implantology Specialist in 1998, an ICOI Diplomate in 2002, and a DGOI Implantology Expert in 2004.

She is a board member and expert of the German Society of Oral Implantology (DGOI), has served as president of the Digital Dentistry Society International, and is an editorial advisor for Practical Implantology, DGOI Oral Implantology, and MDPI journals.

At Dental Leaders Academy, she teaches digital, evidence-based approaches to complex implant rehabilitation.
