Dr. Michael Sonick is a periodontist and implant surgeon in private practice in Fairfield, Connecticut, and a guest lecturer for the International Dental Program at New York University College of Dentistry and the periodontal residency program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
His work centers on periodontal and implant surgery, bone and gingival grafting, and esthetic reconstruction.
He is co-editor of the textbook Implant Site Development, published by Wiley-Blackwell and translated into Spanish and Chinese, and founded Sonick Seminars, a teaching institute offering live-surgery and hands-on implant courses.
At Dental Leaders Academy, he teaches evidence-based surgical protocols for predictable implant and grafting outcomes.
