Prof. Dr. Daniele Cardaropoli is Scientific Director of PROED, the Institute for Professional Education in Dentistry in Torino, Italy, and Adjunct Professor of Periodontology at the University of Catania, alongside a private practice in Torino. He is also President of the Giuseppe Cardaropoli Foundation for Research and Treatment in Periodontology.

His specialization is periodontology, with a focus on regenerative and esthetic implant therapy.

He earned his dental degree with a specialization in periodontology at the University of Turin, holds a diploma from the Harvard Longitudinal Course in Periodontology and Implantology at Harvard Dental School in Boston, and completed a diploma in Excellence in Biomechanics at the University of Siena. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), an international member of the American Academy of Periodontology, and an active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology, the European Federation of Periodontology, the Italian Academy of Osseointegration, and the Academy of Osseointegration. He sits on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry and the International Journal of Oral Implantology, and reviews for the Journal of Clinical Periodontology, the Journal of Periodontology, and the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

He is editor of the textbook 'Soft Tissues and Pink Esthetics in Implant Therapy' (Quintessence Publishing, 2019), author of 'Chirurgia parodontale plastica e rigenerativa' (2021), and author of more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed international journals; his work has received the Goldman Prize for clinical research at the SIdP National Congress and the National Prize in Clinical Orthodontics at the SIDO International Congress.

At Dental Leaders Academy he teaches evidence-based periodontal and pink-esthetic protocols for implant treatment planning.
