Prof. Mauro Fradeani presents the Minimally Invasive Prosthetic Procedure (MIPP), his technique for esthetic and functional rehabilitation of worn dentition using conservative, bonded restorations.
This course presents the Minimally Invasive Prosthetic Procedure, known as MIPP, Dr. Mauro Fradeani’s protocol for restoring severely worn dentition through a conservative, largely additive approach that limits tooth preparation while restoring esthetics and function.
The esthetic component of treatment planning is addressed through facial and dento-labial analysis, establishing the tooth proportions and smile design that guide the restorative plan.
The functional component covers management of worn dentition resulting from erosion and attrition, assessment of dental-occlusal joint stability, and controlled alteration of vertical dimension of occlusion to create restorative space without invasive tooth reduction.
The course concludes with the technical and clinical steps of the MIPP technique itself, from provisional to definitive restoration, illustrated with case documentation.
