Dr. Giorgio Carusi is a periodontist and oral surgeon practicing at the Associated Dental Offices in Ponsacco, in the province of Pisa, Italy, where he works alongside an orthodontist, a prosthetist and an endodontist.

His focus is on regenerative surgical techniques, including guided tissue and bone regeneration around teeth and implants.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1975 and specialized in Odontostomatology in Pisa in 1980. He later directed Gore-Tex regenerative surgery courses in Italy and lectured internationally, including in Dubai and Bucharest, on piezosurgical, sinus-lift and reconstructive oral surgery techniques.
