Dr. Stefano Parma Benfenati is a periodontist and implant surgeon in private practice in Ferrara, Italy, and a teaching professor on the European Master's Degree in Periodontology at the University of Torino's dental school.

His clinical focus is periodontal surgery, mucogingival techniques and guided bone regeneration.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Ferrara in 1978, specialized in Dentistry at the University of Genoa in 1981, and completed a Master of Science in Periodontology at Boston University in 1984. He also taught periodontology at the University of Ferrara from 1986 to 2000 and has authored numerous articles and book chapters.
